This little fella has started chilling in our kitchen. I can never resist playing with macro photography and with the raindrops it was a perfect opportunity...well these are some of the results :)

Autumn Ink

 This entire Autumn/Winter rush is my favourite time of the year! There's so much going on and so many exciting experiences not to mention the beautiful displays of colour throughout the changeover. Lots of brisk walking and costume planning to do haha! Included a sneak preview of my current studio work too; I'm looking at illustrating foreign words for which there is no english equivalent. You can find an example of a similar list here.

I've decided to draw them in a series of black and white ink illustrations.

We bought a new kitchen decoration in preparation for halloween! It works especially well as an incense holder haha~ 

An insight into an average student flat..

An assorted collection over the past weeks of unaverage things. We may have acquired an unusual flatmate, have an extensive hat collection, sophistication and have bought a chilli plant, not to mention we can cook, and do! Here's to Uni, Take 2!

An art students room..

It looks like I'm finally all settled into my new room I think! Everything seems to have a sort of place one way or another haha, it's safe to conclude I have too much stuff.. despite that I can't seem to part with any of it! You'd never guess an artist lives here haha.. whiteboards on the walls and a doodle duvet might give it away! Needless to say they've already been attacked by my flatmates and I have the pleasure of sharing my duvet with a giant tarantula! It's very light and comfy here though, I can see a happy year ahead spent here surrounded by plenty of photos and inspiration.
