I spent an arty day in the craft shed today! I'm currently making a gift for Sam's parents as a thank you for France. Dad's shown me how to do a distressed aged copper effect which is what I've done in the stages below. This paint jar caught my eye too, I love the rings of dried paint, the colour scheme reminds me of a nautical theme too, which conveniently matched the jar of sea shells next to it! 
Haha my cat's such a goon! I went to throw the neighbour's ball back to them and stumbled on my cat fast asleep amongst a load of off cuttings and twigs! Despite this he looked so adorable and comfy I just had to run for my camera to snap some shots :)
