Braaii

I treated my family to tacos for the first time yesterday evening, it was a lot of fun! Very tasty too even if I do say so myself! Today I decided to spend the day outside in the garden; I found some ladybug larvae which had either being discarded or was in the process of changing into a ladybird, at the bottom of the garden which I was excited to find! I then decided to reread a favourite manga series of mine; Fruits Basket by Natsuki Takaya, doodling some of the characters in between. We had such a nice evening braaii later when mom and dad had returned. Shenay and I were treated to a Tequila Sunrise Cocktail, with dad's special homemade vanilla vodka and I had some Magners Cider; it was such a nice evening finished up with toasting marshmallows over a candle.

Art Journal; Day 13- "Space" Originally thought I would do a page based on the Galaxy or an astronaut but then I thought of the idea of Negative space and used the hands to create a heart shape.  The lyrics are from Owl City's 'Vanilla Twilight' which tie in nicely I felt :) 

" The silence isn't so bad.. 'till I look at my fingers and feel sad, 'cause the spaces between my fingers are right where yours fit perfectly..."
