The Indian Bazaar

Today was such a lovely day! I was excited to receive my Indian Bazaar Invitation this summer, and even more so to discover that it was taking place when I was home! We were going to go yesterday evening but it didn't work out in the end, so I went to Jazz Night with my friends instead which was so much fun! It's a summer event where they play live jazz music every week and the atmosphere is so lovely there! Instead I went to the Bazaar this evening with my family~ It was so warm and atmospheric there; as it was held in a barn they draped all their silk cloths and saris over the eaves and filled baskets with various bits of jewellry and treasures. I really like these wooden stamp blocks my mom bought for her school class! They're so eccentric and unique~ I also bought some bits and bobs as a gift but I won't upload a photo until they've been received just in case haha! I'm really glad we made it there tonight, I haven't been in so long! The staff were so lovely and friendly though, and we were given a gorgeous free bag to keep our stuff in! : ) We then spent the evening helping dad prepare assorted salads for supper and banoffee pie for dessert, before settling in for the night with a new film; Halsel and Gretel; Witch Hunters. (Similar comedy and graphic style to Shaun of the Dead, but worth a watch from an artistic point of view, for the costumes and makeup!)

Forgot to upload this the other day! Pencil Portrait of Sam, I can't remember how long it took but it was several hours!

These gorgeous lilies have flowered!
The cats were enjoying the sunny evening just as much as we were! They took the opportunity to laze in the sunshine~ I was lucky to get this cute yawning shot of Smudge just as the shutter clicked~

Mustache Pepper! Purely coincidental, I just had to get a snapshot as
my family have a bit of a thing with mustaches; they're such a  cool shape!

Tasty!
