Ightham Mote!

Dad and I went to Ightham Mote today so that I could take advantage of my renewed National Trust membership and the sunshine! By the time we arrived there it was lunchtime so we stopped in the tea garden for a quick sandwich before exploring the beautiful gardens. There were some absolutely stunning blue flowers in varying shades which were visited by a lot of bees. I also really liked the sweet peas.

Such a fiery colour!
Lilies are fast becoming a favourite flower!

I just love the colours in this! They're so rich and full of depth.
It was really  walking through the house again as I haven't been in such a long time! I was also able to take photos this time which is always nice.

The little passageway outside always catches me out!

It was a lovely amble around, we then decided to stop off at the lavender farm on the way back to see if the fields were in flower. It smelt so lovely, all the fresh lavender tied up in bunches! The drive back was very pretty too through the country roads; they're so luscious and green!
