Summer in the Garden

 I woke up to more sunshine today! I thought I'd celebrate with a delicious almond croissant and tea in the garden as a treat!
I'm also excited to start my new art journal; I really like the square shape! Dad and I have decided to journal a word a day; we chose the words in advance then decided on drawing the word each day~ Today's word is Dream. Taking advantage of the sunshine I walked down to the end to relax in the shade of the trees before realising I'd been sitting under a tree filled with all sorts of interesting wildlife...

Such pretty contrast in colours!

I'm so happy I got a chance to sit down and use my new set of pencils on today's journal page! I found them in a charity store the other day when I was out with dad~ they're so smooth and really useful colours~ Here's my final page inspired by the word dream, I hope you like it. I've put a fabric cover on my journal which hopefully I'll be able to alter soon!
