It was a miserable rainy day today so we didn't get up to much other than chilling in the house! Jake, Sam and I found a set of boules and a tennis set though later on in the afternoon which provided some entertainment until it started to thunder! We weren't too sure on the safety factors of playing outside with metal boules so we quickly scarpered inside to watch the incoming storm from the upstairs shutter~the view was so pretty! We also got our first glimpse of sun all day, just as it was setting haha, the colours were gorgeous though.
Later on as it passed, Sam and I decided to go for a walk down the road to see if we could get a better view. I saw my first lightning bolt that I remember which made my day! We found the perfect viewing spot where we befriended some horses, they were so scared! The storm was amazing though! I even managed to capture some of the bolts on camera, something that's incredibly difficult to do! We must have been outside for at least an hour as we watched the sunset~ it was absolutely gorgeous.
